Yes, you really did read that right, there are some foods that really do increase your productivity, these are known as ‘Brain food’.
So what is brain food?
Brain food is any nutritious and healthy food that help you focus, give you energy and support your memory. Without these types of foods in your diet you can suffer with higher stress to both your physical and mental state and you are practically ruining your brain when you just live off processed foods.
One of the biggest excuses as to why people consume processed foods over brain food, is time. I mean, who really has time anymore? The thing is, no-one really has much time, especially when it comes down to food, it’s far easier to skip breakfast, or pick up a quick snack rather than eating a proper lunch than it is to eat both healthily and properly. However, this is doing yourself and your body no good.
So how can you add more Brain foods in your diet?
- Leafy Greens
- Whole grain foods
- and Eggs
Into your diet, your productivity will increase! I don’t think you should expect amazing results straight away, because that just isn’t realistic, but each of these foods are proven to have health enhancing vitamins and minerals to increase your focus and your productivity.
